Senior Announcements

Doors open for Graduation at 5 p.m. – Ceremony begins at 6 p.m. in the Main Gym – Admission is by ticket only.

Seniors should report to the Auditorium at 5 p.m. on graduation night.

Graduation Tickets will be handed out at practice on May 29th.  Each Senior will receive 6 tickets.

Unpaid Fees – Seniors who have any unpaid fees will not be given their graduation tickets.  Fees include Lunchroom, Library & any fees turned in to front office.

Practice for graduation will be on Wednesday, May 29th, at 8:30 a.m. in the gym.  YOU MUST ATTEND PRACTICE OR YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GRADUATION CEREMONY.   NOTE TO PARENTS:  While we understand that you want to enjoy every minute of your child’s graduation, we ask that you NOT attend this practice session.  Keeping the seniors’ attention is difficult enough on this day without the added distraction of parents taking photos and videotaping; please allow us to do our job and keep students focused on what they must do during the ceremony.  Students will be allowed to leave when practice is complete.

DRESS FOR GRADUATION:  Men should wear dress slacks (navy, khaki, etc.) with a light-colored, collared shirt (preferably white) and a tie.  Dress shoes required.  NO flip-flops, work boots or athletic shoes.  Women should wear a dress/sundress or nice capris/guachos, etc. (best if no longer than your gown) and dressy sandals. You may steam your gown to remove wrinkles, then bring it on a hanger and put it on when you arrive at NCHS.  Ladies, if you want to put your cap on and fix your hair at home, please remember that the cap sits FLAT ON YOUR HEAD.

Lifetouch will take a photograph of each senior receiving a diploma at graduation.  Photo forms will be handed out in the seniors english class.  Photos may also be ordered directly from Lifetouch visit RichardZielkePortraits.com.

Treasured Memories Videopgraphy By Dawn will record the graduation ceremony.  A DVD may be purchased for $25.00.  Payment is due at time of order.  Orders may be turned in to school office.  Seniors will get these forms in their english class.

Final Transcript – There is a binder in the guidance office for Seniors to list the names of any College or University that you would like to receive a copy of your final transcript.

“Ditch your Dress Code” –  as a final service project the Class of 2013 is asked to bring in their polos and collared shirts -clean please :)- They will be donated to the NCHS family resouce center.  Students bring those shirts in on May 29th and drop them off in a collection box in the main gym where you will report for Grad practice.

Best Wishes & Congratulations, Class of 2013!
